| Momma To Be Bear is a
wonderful gift for an expectant mother. She is a
gift that represents both the anticipation of having a
baby, and then celebrates that birth with just a few
adjustments. Momma To Be Bear is first shown
holding a basket of baby goodies, and a cross-stitched
heart that says "Momma To Be". The basket is
attached to the bear's arm with velcro, and the heart
pillow hangs by a ribbon loop. Even though you
may not be able to see this in the picture, the bear
also has quite a bit of padding around her middle.
After the baby is born, you remove the basket, lift up
the bear's dress, and remove the padding, either by
removing a few stitches in the back, or by slipping it
off the bear. Underneath the padding you will
find a baby bear in a blanket, as shown in the second
picture. You now attach the baby bear to the arm
that was holding the basket, and you flip the heart
around so that is reads, "Baby and Me". You can
choose the colors of the dress and blanket that best
fits the recipient. You can also choose
different wording for the heart. The items in
the basket are general baby items that I can find in
miniature. You can see a close up of the padding
on the options page (link below) as well as close ups
of the basket and heart. The base price for the
Momma To Be Bear is $30.00 and includes the momma and
baby bear only. It does not include the basket
or the heart. Those can be chosen as options for
an additional cost.
